OFF GRID refers to a Power Plant that generates electricity ONLY from Solar. This Power Plant is not connected to the utility grid (OFF the GRID) and is a standalone unit.
The electricity produced is stored in Batteries for later use. Off Grid Power Plants are used in Rural Areas, Where Electricity Grid is Non-Existent.
Hybrid works similar to OFF Grid Solar Power Plants. The Batteries in Hybrid Solar Power Plant are charged using Solar Power as well as the Utility Grid.
This ability to store energy also enables them to operate as a backup power supply during a blackout.Hybrid Power Plants are Common in areas of Frequent Power Cuts.
